Our Daycare

Terms & conditions

Below, you'll find our terms & conditions for the daycare. These must be followed by every dog owner.

By having your dog(s) attend our multi award winning daycare & training facility in Naas, you accept these terms.

    1. Although we are flexible in the days you book in (depending win that weeks availability), all dogs must attend our daycare atleast 1 day every 2 weeks. If there is (up to) a 4 week gap, we hold the right to release your daycare spot to someone on our waiting list. You may not receive a text regarding this.
    2. It is extremely important that your dog has all vaccinations including Kennel Cough up to date as this will be requested before an assessment is booked. For the safety of all dogs attending, any new applicants must be neutered / spayed if over 12 months of age (depending on the breed, of course) – no exceptions!
    3. If you book an assessment and cannot make that time, the time can be rescheduled. If you miss your rescheduled appointment, a mandatory payment of €40 will be required to cover the assessment slot.
    4. If your dog passes the assessment, a ‘3 strike’ system will be put in place. This gives your dog 3 chances to improve their behaviour. If your dog improves, these may be rescinded. If their behaviour has been deemed unacceptable, a constant line of communication will be used between our staff & dog parents.
    5. All dogs that attend the daycare, must have a harness and a dog lead on them on the day of booking. This is for your dog’s safety and ours. If you do not have a harness or lead with you for your dog, you may be refused entry on the day. You will still be charged for that slot before leaving. Repeat offenders will be suspended for 1 week. You also agree to keep your dog on the lead & harness whilst entering and leaving the Fluffy Paws Doggie Daycare Ltd building and parking area. This is to comply with our health and safety guidelines. You agree that you understand that all dogs are not suitable for day care and that every new arrival is subject to an assessment day to evaluate their behaviour towards other dogs in our care.
    6. If you wish for our team to feed your dog at daycare, the food / bowl must be clearly labelled with your dog’s name. This is to avoid any confusion with meals as there are some dogs with specific dietary requirements.
    7. All property such as leads must be labelled clearly. Labels are provided once your dog passes our assessment. This is of utmost importance as it makes our staff’s lives easier when it comes to home time for the dogs. As a result, it reduces waiting time for other customers. It also reduces the possibility of being sent home with the incorrect lead.
    8. All dog owners should understand that their dog will be mixing with other dogs and that playing with other dogs may result in marks, bruises, nicks etc. Our team will inform you of any illnesses or scrapes that may occur during the day, upon collection. Depending on the severity of the case, we may insist that you collect your dog(s) asap. You also understand that your dog may become dirty as a result of playing with other dogs. The daycare team will do their best to maintain a clean coat.
    9. If your dog(s) are unwell in any way, our team must be informed prior to arrival so that we can determine whether we accept them on the day. This includes a range of illnesses from diarrhea to more serious health issues such as viral infections & seizures. Please also note that if your dog is on antibiotics, this may alter their form and mood in daycare.
    10. You confirm that you have made our staff aware of any behavioural issues and / or any special requirements of your dog.
    11. You are aware of the late collection fee (€5 for every 15 mins you are late after 6:45pm). This does not apply if you have given our team sufficient notice (at least 60 minutes notice).
    12. If you do not show for any Daycare booking without 1 days notice, you must pay the daily fee of €32. This also includes late texts after 6:45pm when our phones are off. Receiving a message this late does not allow us to release it for another customer that may be on the waiting list for that day. Therefore, the full amount must be paid. This also applies to Monday bookings that have been cancelled over the weekend. Our phones are switched off on weekends so cancellations will not be processed. If you do cancel a Monday booking but wish to reschedule for another day that week, that is perfectly acceptable once we have availability.
    13. You agree to give prior notice to our staff if someone else is collecting your dog.
    14. We do not accept walk-ins. If you wish for your dog to attend our daycare, a booking request must be sent via WhatsApp to our bookings phone. Once confirmed, our team will confirm the booking request with a love heart reaction. If you send in a booking request over the weekend for a Monday slot, consider your booking confirmed unless otherwise informed.
    15. Upon collection time, if you have forgotten your purse / wallet / phone, you must call our daycare or pay via our mobile payment request to cover the fee for the day at daycare before we allow any further bookings.
