We are now offering a Home Visit service!

With the festive season finally finished, we at Fluffy Paws Doggie Daycare have decided to begin 2024 with a bang! 

We have some very exciting news about a new upcoming service that customers will be able to avail of in the coming weeks. 

This service is perfect for those doggies who didn’t pass their assessment due to anxiety, stress or possible aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. 

This can sometimes be stressful for the dog and indeed the owner, therefore we have come up with a solution!

Our Home Visit option is ideal for doggies that may not thrive in a Daycare environment, ensuring the safety and happiness of all. 

We will arrange a Meet and Greet beforehand so as to allow your dog a chance to get to know us as well as affording us a chance to answer any questions and discuss any concerns you may have. 

This service lasts for one hour and consists of the following:

– Greeting Gift. Our staff will greet your dog with a tasty treat from our stock supply, mixing and matching to keep things interesting for your dog! Please let us know if you do not wish your dog to receive treats/if they have dietary restrictions.

– 30 Minute Sniff Walk/Outdoor Exercise. Your dog will be walked for 30 minutes, allowing them to burn off some energy. If your dog is unable to go on walks of this length, we will engage in outdoor play, allowing them to run around and enjoy some outdoor time during the day.

– Stacked Bathroom Breaks. Your dog will be brought out for a toilet break immediately upon our arrival at your home, and also before our departure, helping to avoid any accidents. 

– Top-Ups and Feeding. We will wash and top up water bowls with fresh clean water and if required, give your dog their lunch. Please do specify if this is required or not as we do not want any doggies to miss out!

– One to One Time. The remainder of the time spent with your dog will be filled with cuddles, physical and mental stimulation and playtime, using our high quality products for maximum enjoyment! 

– Equipment Check. Our staff will check collars, leads and harnesses for any wear and tear or signs of being outgrown. We can also assist with sizing new collars and harnesses if necessary. 

– Pupdates. We will take videos and photos of your doggie enjoying their walk, their playtime and one to one interactions, keeping you fully informed and in the loop. 

This service is hugely beneficial for dogs that may suffer with anxiety. It can help to settle your dog and allows them to enjoy interaction and playtime in a safe environment- their own home. With their scent surrounding them and familiar furniture and rooms, your dog’s stress levels will be reduced as they are in their own territory. 

This also affords peace of mind for you, the owner, as there is no need to worry about being called into the office, roster/schedule changes, or the panic of being let down if your dog walker/minder cannot accommodate you.
